Investor Explorer sells monthly subscriptions to the AI Explorer tool. The written course is free and requires no payment. This policy explains when we issue refunds.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record for all purchases. Charges will appear on your statement under Lemon Squeezy or LMSQUEEZY.
Try before you pay
Every free account includes two complete AI Explorer analyses at no cost, on any US-listed ticker you choose. We recommend using them before subscribing so you know exactly what the tool produces.
14-day money-back guarantee on your first payment
If you are not satisfied with a paid plan, contact us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund that payment in full. You do not need to give a reason.
This applies to your first payment on an account only.
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel at any time from your account settings. When you cancel:
- Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
- You are not charged again.
- The remainder of the current month is not refunded, since you keep full access to it.
Renewals and past months
Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. We do not refund billing periods that have already been used — including earlier months on a subscription you forgot to cancel.
If you were charged for a renewal you did not intend and you contact us within 7 days of that charge, and you have not run any analyses in that billing period, we will refund it. This is at our discretion but we apply it generously.
Always refunded
We refund in full, regardless of timing, if:
- You were charged more than once for the same billing period.
- A technical fault on our side prevented you from using the tool for a substantial part of a billing period.
- A charge was made without authorisation.
What is not refundable
- Analyses you have already run. Each one uses paid third-party data and AI processing that we cannot recover.
- Dissatisfaction with the conclusions of an analysis. Investor Explorer is an educational tool that applies published valuation frameworks to public financial data. It does not provide investment advice, and outcomes in the market are not a basis for a refund.
Consumers in the EU and UK
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal on distance contracts. Because access to the AI Explorer tool begins immediately on purchase, you are asked at checkout to expressly request immediate access and to acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once you begin using the service.
Our 14-day money-back guarantee above is offered voluntarily and is separate from that statutory right. It does not limit any rights you have under applicable consumer law.
How to request a refund
Email chatexplore@investorexplorer.com from the address on your account, with the date of the charge. We reply within 2 business days.
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method by Lemon Squeezy. Your bank or card issuer usually takes a further 5 to 10 business days to post the funds.
Chargebacks
If something has gone wrong, please contact us first. We would much rather fix it directly than have you open a dispute with your bank, and we resolve most requests within a day.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Changes apply to purchases made after the updated version is published. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
